A switchover is when you have loose tires (no rims attached) that need to be installed on the existing rims of your vehicle.

The process takes about 30 to 45 minutes for 4 tires.

We dismount the tire carefully, brush the rim where the bead of the tires sits to remove any oxidization to prevent rim leaks, apply a quality sealer, re-mount the other tire and balance them.

A tire swap is when you have your other tires already mounted on their own rims.  The process takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

In both of the above situations, we always tighten and torque your lug nuts to manufacturer specifications and air up all your tires to the vehicle specifications.

Whenever your wheels have been removed for any type of service, it is highly recommended that you re-torque your lug nuts again within 50 to 80 km of driving distance.

You can bring your vehicle to our shop to have this done or you can do this at home or any other shop if it is not convenient to come back to our shop.
